Roofing Lead Reactivation
Reopen Eligible Roofing Conversations at the Right Time
We select older contacts by permission, segment, and context. Opt-outs, wrong numbers, and uncertain records are excluded. The outreach is useful and permission-aware. No scraped lists, no fake urgency, no unlimited outreach claim.
The estimate that went cold but was not lost
A homeowner receives an estimate for a roof replacement in March. They are thinking it over. The estimate sits in your CRM at Estimate Sent. Months pass. The homeowner's tax refund arrives in July, and they are ready to move forward.
Nobody follows up because the estimate is six months old and the team assumes it is dead. The homeowner does not call because they forgot which roofer they were talking to. They search online and pick a different company. The job was not lost to a competitor. It was lost to silence.
A reactivation message in July would have surfaced the conversation. The message references the estimate, asks if the timing is better, and offers to update the pricing. The homeowner was not disloyal. They were waiting for the right moment, and nobody checked in. Reactivation reopens the conversation at the right time.

How the reactivation workflow behaves
The workflow starts with selection. We select older contacts based on criteria you approve: the age of the last conversation, the work type, the service area, and the status. A contact from an estimate sent six months ago that did not close might be eligible. A contact from a job that was completed is not eligible for reactivation because the work is done.
Permission review is the gate. We check whether each contact has opted in to messaging and whether their preference is current. A contact that opted out is excluded. A contact with uncertain permission is held until the permission is resolved. We do not message a contact whose consent status is unclear. A later form submission does not silently override an existing opt-out.
Segmentation gives the message context. A contact who received an estimate gets a message that references the estimate and asks if the timing is better. A contact who had an inspection but did not book gets a message that references the inspection and offers to update the scope. The message is useful, not generic.
The outreach is useful and permission-aware. The message provides a clear next step without pressure. It is approved before it goes out. The tone is helpful, not urgent. We do not create fake urgency with countdown timers or 'last chance' language.
We do not use scraped contact lists. The contacts come from your CRM, where they were recorded because they inquired with your business. We do not buy lists, scrape websites, or reach out to strangers. We do not claim unlimited outreach. The cohort is finite, and the measures show how many responded and how many booked.
Exception handling
When a contact's permission is uncertain
The system selects a contact from an estimate sent four months ago. During the permission review, the messaging preference shows as 'unknown.' The contact was recorded before the messaging preference field was added to the CRM, so the consent status is unclear.
The contact is held, not messaged. The system flags it as 'permission uncertain' and adds it to a review queue. The office manager checks whether the contact opted in at any point, through a form, a text reply, or a verbal confirmation. If the permission can be confirmed, the contact is moved to the permitted cohort and the message goes out. If it cannot, the contact stays excluded. We do not message a contact whose consent is unclear.

Measurement
What we measure
Each measure is defined in plain language. Baselines start as "Set your baseline" until your data is connected. The review period is agreed with your team.
—
Eligible cohort size
The count of contacts selected for reactivation after permission review and exclusions.
—
Response rate
The share of reactivated contacts that replied to the message during the review period.
—
Appointments from reactivation
The count of reactivated contacts that booked an inspection, tracked from the message to the booking.
—
Exclusion count
The count of contacts excluded for opt-out, wrong number, or uncertain permission, showing the review's thoroughness.
Software and access
Lead reactivation connects to your CRM, your SMS and email channels, and your permission records. We assess your current setup during planning. Permission review depends on the quality of your consent records. We plan the campaign before promising a specific response rate.
Illustrated workflows
Approved case studies will appear once a real case is documented. Until then, these illustrated workflows show how reactivation connects to the rest of the system.
Questions
Common questions about this service
- We select contacts based on criteria you approve: the age of the last conversation, the work type, the service area, and the status. A contact from an estimate sent six months ago that did not close might be eligible if the homeowner's situation could have changed. We exclude opt-outs, wrong numbers, already closed work, and records with uncertain messaging permission.
