Illustrative workflow

Following Up on an Open Estimate

The open estimate is enrolled in a follow-up sequence. Each message has a purpose: a helpful question, an explanation, and an easy booking step. The sequence stops when the homeowner replies, books, opts out, or the team decides.

Starting event

A roofing estimate has been sent. The homeowner has not responded after a defined period.

How the workflow moves

  1. 1
    System

Identifies the estimate as open after the configured wait period.

  2. 2
    System

Enrolls the contact in the follow-up sequence.

  3. 3
    System

Sends message one: a helpful question about the estimate.

  4. 4
    System

Sends message two: an explanation of next steps.

  5. 5
    System

Sends message three: an easy booking link.

Exception branch

If the homeowner replies at any point, the sequence stops immediately. The reply routes to the assigned owner for a personal response. No further automated messages send.

Sample output

Message one: 'Hi [Name], we sent your estimate on Tuesday. Do you have any questions about the scope or pricing? Reply here and we will help.'
